Students can acquire the EMOS certificate at twenty universities across Europe within the master's degree programs approved for this purpose. The EMOS curriculum includes lectures on topics related to official statistics, an internship, and an empirically oriented final thesis.

Why can the EMOS certificate be useful?Studying an EMOS master's program or presenting an EMOS certificate is an advantage when applying for an internship or an advertised position at the Federal Statistical Office. It is also a huge advantage for your CV in general and gives you contacts and a network of statisticians that can be helpful in the future.
